A 30-year-old Diamond, East Bank Demerara woman was crushed to death after her bathroom wall collapsed, pinning her to the ground on Sunday.
The woman identified as Shoia Melissa Europe was apparently in the house by herself on Sunday night when the wall in the bathroom area, which was under construction, fell apart.
Her body was discovered just after 10 o’ clock on Sunday night. Investigators suspect she may have been trapped for hours.
Relatives have explained that the woman only recently started renovation of the house and the workmen were building new walls around the old ones.
 Investigators are treating the case as a tragic accident.
