Police investigators in Barbados are probing the death of a Guyanese woman who lived on the island.
The dead woman has been identified as 27-year-old Annastacia Natashia Angel.
Her body was found along the beach at Hastings in the parish of Christ Church on Monday during the crop-over celebrations.
She reportedly lived in the same Christ Church area. The death is being treated as an unnatural one.
The woman’s boyfriend and some of her friends were spotted at the scene yesterday just after her body was discovered.
The Royal Barbados Police Force is hoping that anyone with information on the suspected murder would contact the nearest police station.
Barbados has been celebrating its crop over festival over the past few days.
