Minister within the Ministry of Finance, Bishop Juan Edghill is expected to spend a second night in the Georgetown Hospital on Wednesday night after being admitted on Tuesday.
Edghill was rushed to the hospital complaining on Tuesday afternoon of severe dizziness and feelings of a fainting spell. He was seen by a number of Doctors in the Accident and Emergency Unit and admitted for additional observation.
Doctors spent much of the night on Tuesday morning his blood pressure level and his blood sugar level. He is believed to be diabetic.
He was first admitted to the Intensive Care Unit but was later transferred to the High Dependency Unit. A hospital source explained that although his ailment might not be life threatening, he was being housed in the ICU and the HDU for privacy and comfort purposes.
Sources familiar with the case have told News Source that he could be released from hospital on Thursday once his condition improves and doctors believe he would have gained enough rest.
The Government Minister has on a busy campaign like schedule over the past month traveling to a number of communities across the country to talk with various residents about a number of government projects.
