Man busted at Ogle with cocaine in stomach

A 28-year-old man from Stanleytown, West Bank Demerara remains under police guard on Tuesday after he was busted at the Ogle International Airport with cocaine pellets in his stomach.

According to the police, the man was getting ready to board a LIAT flight to Barbados when the bust was made. He was immediately arrested and taken to the hospital where he excreted over 12 pellets.

Investigators are still monitoring him as they believe there may be many more where those 12 came from.

The drug mule has been questioned extensively and will face more questioning and charges when he is released from the hospital.
