A 26-year-old Kuru Kuru man has been arrested on suspicion of being involved in auto theft.

The man, Romaine Watson, who is already before the Courts on carjacking charges, was arrested on Tuesday with four car doors in his possession.

A Police report said a group of ranks was on a patrol in the Annandale market area when they observed a heavily tinted car speeding off from the area.

The Police pursued the car, forcing it to stop. Watson was the driver of the vehicle and a search carried out on the vehicle revealed the four car doors stashed in the trunk and back seat.

The man was immediately arrested as he could not provide any clear answers about the items which are suspected to have been stolen.

He is likely to face charges in the coming days.
