An East Coast Demerara man is in custody after he stabbed his brother in law to death on Thursday night over an argument about contracted work for a property that was not being completed.
Dead is 53-year-old Terrence Adams of Haslington, East Coast Demerara. He was stabbed to the neck and other parts of the body last evening after he got into an argument with his brother in law.
Eyewitnesses said Adams was in his shop when the brother-in-law approached him and started to complain about work to his house that had not been completed although he had already paid the man.
The argument quickly escalated and the angry brother-in-law stabbed adams even as he tried to run away from the scene. He was taken to the Georgetown Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.
