A police investigation into a robbery after a driver was relieved of his motor car has resulted in a number of other stolen cars being recovered.

The investigation took Police ranks to a location at Kuru Kuru on the Soesdyke-Linden highway where the stolen car was found along with several other stolen vehicles and car parts.

The Police said they also found a 9mm pistol during a search of the house where the stolen cars were found,

A 26-year-old suspect took the Police ranks to another location at St. Cuthbert’s Mission where two other cars were found.  One of the cars was reported stolen last week.

The police also found stolen car parts at the location. Two other suspects who were spotted in the area were arrested and the car they were found driving was taken into the custody of the Police since it was also suspected of being stolen.

The Police said that based on further information received at the station, a search was conducted at an area at Long Creek and five (5) motorcars that were stripped were found in a valley.

Investigations are ongoing.
