Snr. Airport Manager charged for allegedly kissing woman without her permission

More than a week after charges were recommended by the Director of Public Prosecutions, Senior Airport Manager, Andrew Kellman found himself before a city Magistrate facing a sexual assault charge.

The 56-year-old Campbellville resident is accused of kissing a female employee attached to a company that operates at the Airport without her consent.

The incident reportedly occurred in July 2018 while the woman was making a complaint to the Manager in his office at the airport.

It is alleged that Kellman held the woman by the hands and started to kiss her.

She filed a complaint to other managers at the airport but it was only recently that the Police became involved in the investigation.

Kellman was granted bail in the sum of $70,000 and will have to return to Court next week for the continuation of the case. He has denied the charge that has been filed against him.

He has hired the services of Attorney Glen Hannoman who told News Source that his client is wrongfully accused and the charge may have been influenced by public condemnation, which his client has been subjected to following media reports about the alleged incident.

Kellman has been in the employ of the airport for over two decades.
