“Spoil Child” charged and remanded to jail for murder of girlfriend

Ex-Policeman and suspected gang leader, Teon Allen aka Spoil Child was remanded to jail this morning after being charged for the murder of his girlfriend and mother of his child, Collissa Hunte.

He was not required to enter a plea to the indictable murder charge. He appeared at the Linden Magistrates’ Court earlier today.

The body of 27-year-old Collissa Hunte was found on the 27th February in a house at Amelia’s Ward Linden with gunshot wounds.

The woman’s father was alerted by the boyfriend, Teon Allen, that she had been shot and was in the house. When the father got to the house, he only found his lifeless body and Allen later turned up at the hospital alone nursing a gunshot wound to his shoulder.

Initially, the impression was given that the couple had come under attack, but when investigators started their probe, it was realised that there was no attack and the murder had taken place in the house.

Allen’s injury to his shoulder was in the same spot where he had been injured a few months back while trying to escape a Police roadblock. Officers suspect he shot himself after killing the girlfriend.

A post-mortem examination revealed that the woman died from gunshot injuries to her chest.

The matter will come up again in Court later this month.
