More than a month after an investigation was launched, Political activist and social media talk show host, Gavin Matthews was today charged for using a computer system to allegedly cause damage to the reputation of another person and corrupt public morale.

He was represented at his first Court appearance by Attorney Darren Wade and pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The charge against Matthews is related to statements he made about Culture Minister Charles Ramson Jr. during one of his online talk shows.

Ramson who claimed that he was offended and hurt by the statements filed a Police complaint alleging a breach of the Cyber Crime law.
