Three days after the gunning down of Cuban national, Danier Vegas Infante at his Queenstown workplace, the Guyana Police Force has issued a wanted bulletin for three suspects.
The Police Force is looking for Nicholas Daby, Mikhail Joseph and Baraka Garnett. Investigators are asking that anyone with information on the whereabouts of the three men to contact the nearest Police station or call 911.
The Cuban national was at his workplace early on Sunday morning when three men were seen entering the area and having a conversation with another man.
As they were leaving, the Cuban national approached one of the men, who whipped out a firearm and shot him. The injured man collapsed at the scene and was later pronounced dead.
The three suspects left the area in a car, which was later intercepted by the Police. However, a woman from Diamond on the East Bank of Demerara was arrested and questioned about the car and the whereabouts of the three suspects.
The murder remains under active investigation.
