Two men were arrested on Monday after Police ranks busted them with over 100 pounds of marijuana in a wooden vessel.
The compressed marijuana was found in twenty-four large parcels that were stashed in the vessel.
The Police ranks received information about the movement of the marijuana and moved in as the vessel traversed the Canje creek at around 9:30 pm.
The two men who have been arrested are from the Sand Hills in the Berbice river area. They are assisting with the investigation.
