Nursing Assistant wanted for questioning over false claims about Adriana Younge’s post-mortem examination

The Guyana Police Force is seeking to question a Nursing Assistant from the Georgetown Hospital, who was captured on an audio recording falsely claiming that she was present during the post mortem examination of Adriana Younge. Her name has been given as Tiana King-Lewis.

In the recording, the woman also claimed that she was sent to the PME by the Minister of Health.

The Health Minister has denied any knowledge of the woman or ever having any conversation with her. He is now mulling legal action.

The Police statement indicated that the Attorney for the family of Adriana Younge, Darren Wade, was contacted since he was present during the post mortem examination.

The Police said Wade has confirmed to the police that Tiana Serena Lewis-King was not present at the post mortem examination.

Additionally, Dr. Celeb McCloggan who was also present during the post mortem examination representing the interest of the family was contacted. He also confirmed that she was not present during the post mortem examination of Adriana Younge.

The Guyana Police Force said it has also reviewed its video recording made during the post mortem examination of Adriana Younge and noted that Tiana Serena Lewis-King was never present in the room from commencement to conclusion of the post mortem examination. Additionally, the Police said at no time whatsoever did the three qualified foreign pathologists who were present ask any nurse
assistant or aid their opinions.

“This recording is clearly intended to create public mischief, pervert and obstruct the course of justice, among other criminal offices, as a result the Guyana Police Force has issued a wanted bulletin for Tiana Serena Lewis-King”, the Police said.
