Police in Corentyne, Berbice have launched an investigation into murder of 52-year-old Ninawattie Nandalall.
The woman’s lifeless body was discovered in the backdam of Number Naught village, Corentyne. There are reports that there were a number of marks of violence on the woman’s body.
Her family members had reported to the Police last evening that they had concerns about her whereabouts after she could not be located.
The Police said three persons have been taken into custody as the investigations are ongoing.
