Father and son charged over assault of man outside Stabroek Market

Bail was objected for the son since he lives overseas. In the end the magistrate granted bail for the father and remanded the son to prison. However he may have since secured bail.

Father and son charged over assault of man outside Stabroek Market

A Father and son found themselves in same Courtroom yesterday charge for wounding another man.

The two men, Shawn Griffith and Shawn Griffith junior stood before the Chief Magistrate, as the court Court was told that on the 18th November at Stabroek Market, with the intent mime disfigure and cause grievous bodily harm, Shawn Griffith junior allegedly attacked and wounded Kenneth Volet,

The father was charged with assaulting the same man on the same day and wounding him.

Bail was objected for the son since he lives overseas. In the end the magistrate granted bail for the father and remanded the son to prison. However he may have since secured bail.
