Several family members filled the Courtroom in support of a woman, who claimed that her nephew destroyed several parts of house.

The accused, 23-Year-Old, Kelvin Cupidore stood before Principal Magistrate, Judy Latchman and pleaded not guilty to the offence of damage to property.

The Court was told that on the 25th November in Guyhoc Park, the young damaged two walls along with several windows.

The damage was estimated at just over $153,000.

In his defense the accused told the Court that he only broke apart the house in order to fix it and that he even bought cement blocks to start work on the house.

However, the virtual complainant stated that he does this whenever he gets upset and is seen as a “headache” to the family since his mom died.

She further stated that he always threatens her and claimed that she once had to pay him $300,000 to leave her alone.

Bail was set at $80,000 and the case was put off until later this month.
