Mechanic surrenders to law enforcement over wanted bulletin as “Paper Shorts” murder probe widens

Less than 24 hours after the Police issued a wanted bulletin for his arrest as part of the ongoing probe into the 2021 murder of gold dealer, Ricardo Fagundes aka “Paper Shorts”, mechanic Satrohan Rajkumar turned himself over to the police today in the presence of his attorney, Damien DaSilva.

The Friendship Housing Scheme mechanic was arrested and later transported to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Headquarters.

News Source understands that Police investigators suspect that Rajkumar may have come into contact with a car that was used as the getaway vehicle after the execution of Fagundes outside the Palm Court Bar.

The wanted bulletin for Rajkumar was issued late Tuesday night, hours after three other men were released on $1 million station bail each, after being grilled by the police for six days.

The Police have remained tight-lipped on the murder investigation.

Fagundes was gunned down shortly after leaving Palm Court on the night of March 21, 2021.

He was riddled with bullets by two gunmen before they made their escape in a car, which was later found torched in a village along the Soesdyke-Linden Highway.
