63-year-old woman, daughter and grand daughter die in St. Cuthbert’s Mission accident

Tragedy struck a St. Cuthbert’s Mission family on Saturday evening as a head on collision involving two cars claimed the lives of a 63-year-old woman, her 29-year-old daughter and her 7-year-old grand daughter.

The three who have been identified as Olive Andrews, Attina Andrews and Emma Andrews, were passengers in one of the two cars involved in the smash-up along the St. Cuthbert’s trail.

A Police report of the accident stated that it took place at around 6:30 this evening.

The Police statement indicated that one of the cars was being driven by Josh Simon of St. Cuthbert’s Mission, while the other was being driven by a man known as “Fidell” of the same community.

The two cars were traveling in opposite directions along the trail when they collided with each other. The Police report stated that the two women and the child were pronounced dead at the scene by a Doctor from the Health Centre in the community.

The drivers of the two cars were taken to the hospital with multiple injuries.
