Nine years after a Chateau Margot store owner was shot dead during a robbery, the man who was charged for the murder has been found guilty and sentenced to 80 years in jail.
Moments after a jury found Victor Bobb guilty of the murder of 64-year-old Dennis Ramah, Justice Navindra Singh handed down the 80 year sentence on Monday.
The convict showed no signs of remorse as he was led away from the Courthouse.
Family members of the murdered businessman were present at the Courthouse for the sentencing.
During the trial, Victor Bobb was positively identified as the man who robbed and shot the businessman back in 2010 during the attack on the man’s business place.
He was reportedly part of a gang that attacked the business place.
The Court was told that he held the man and his employees at gunpoint before eventually shooting the man twice to the chest.
