Guyoil to get new Chief Executive Officer

Former General Manager at the Mix FM Radio, Renata Exeter is to be hired as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Guyana Oil Company, according to multiple sources close to the company.

The state-owned oil company has been without a CEO for the past two years, since the Board parted ways with the last CEO.

According to sources, Exeter who once managed her own Marketing company and was also a Marketing Officer at GTT a few years ago, got the Board’s approval for the job recently and is expected to turn on to duty in the new month.

Contractual arrangements are being finalized, News Source understands.

The 37-year-old is a former student the St. Joseph’s High School and Queens College. After completing her secondary education, she went on to the University of Guyana where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management.

She later completed an Executive Masters in Business Administration at the Arthur Lok Jock Graduate School of Business, UWI.
