A Haslington, East Coast Demerara family is crying out for justice following the Police shooting death of 25-year-old Quindon Bacchus.
Details surrounding the latest Police shooting death are sketchy. However, in a brief statement, the Guyana Police Force claimed that a party of Police ranks was in the Haslington community when they saw a man with a firearm.
The Police Force claims that when the ranks were approaching the man, he opened fire on them and they returned fire, fatally wounding the 25-year-old.
The Police Force said a .380 pistol with one live round and one spent shell were recovered at the scene of the incident.
