Regional carrier, LIAT Air, has announced that it will begin schedule service between Guyana’s Eugene F. Correia Airport at Ogle and Antigua’s VC Bird International Airport on the 17th November.
The airline will initially offer three flights per week between the two destinations. LIAT Air has been operating to the Cheddi Jagan International Airport, Timehri since its return to the Guyana skies in 2024.
The previous Liat (1974) Airline, operated daily flights between the airport at Ogle and Barbados’ Grantley Adams Airport before its operations folded in 2020.
Since the launch of the new LIAT Air, the company has been expanding its service across the Caribbean region as it battles competition from other regional carriers.
The airline is offering several connections to its various destinations through Antigua and has been seeking to create a bigger traveling link between Guyana and Antigua.
