With no evidence or an actual report, PPP Member of Parliament Nigel Dharamlall had claimed that he has information that one of the villagers was beaten by members of the army during the investigations. He called for a full investigation, while admitting that his story was unconfirmed.

The Guyana Defence Force has announced that it has found no evidence that any of its ranks were involved in any beating or torture of anyone at Yupukari as a probe continues into the discovery of an illegal aircraft in the interior area.

With no evidence or an actual report, PPP Member of Parliament Nigel Dharamlall had claimed that he has information that one of the villagers was beaten by members of the army during the investigations. He called for a full investigation, while admitting that his story was unconfirmed.

The GDF dispatched a special investigation team to the area and could not find any evidence or anyone to substantiate the claim.

Meanwhile the probe into the illegal plane is ongoing. Security has been stepped up in the area where the place was found.
