Police have arrested one man in connection with the shooting incident on Monday at Laing Avenue, Georgetown which resulted in the death of former murder accused Orin David.
‘A’ Division Commander Clifton Hicken confirmed the man’s arrest late on Tuesday and said a vehicle, which is believed to be the same car the killers used, was also impounded.
Commander Hicken explained that the police are looking for other suspects but expect to have an Identification Parade conducted with the man they have in custody.
Reports are that the men who shot and killed David outside his home, in full view of others, are known to him.
Their identities were related to the police and they are being sought for questioning.
David was shot several times on Monday while engaging his killers in an argument over bail money that was owed to him.
