Persons inside the night club said an argument broke out between a group of men and it soon became a fist fight just after 3 o’ clock this morning.

One eyewitness said the two men who were shot were not armed but several shots were fired by others inside the club and on the outside.

It is believed that the young man who has died was shot on the outside while he sought cover.

Police investigators rushed down to the popular night club in the Queenstown area and launched a full investigation.

A relative of the dead man said he was at home when he was alerted that the 23-year old had been shot. He said by the time he rushed down to the hospital, doctors had already pronounced him dead.

He said he had repeatedly warned the young man about some of the friends he kept in his company, but he also knew he was dealing with an adult who could make decisions on his own. The grieving man said he is still to receive the full details about how his son met his death.

It is unclear what may have triggered to the verbal argument that ended in gunfire and a dead man.
