On the same day that one of two men who was wanted for questioning in connection with a viral sex video took his own life, the other man has been held for questioning by Police.
Senior Police sources have this evening confirmed the arrest of a young man who they believe was the other man in the three person sex video.
The older of the two men, Sherwin Apple aka “Yellow” was found dead this morning on the Kitty foreshore in what investigators believe was a suicide case. The Police Force has reported that no marks of violence was found on his body.
The other young man was arrested in Linden this evening and will face questioning about the contents of the sex video since many persons who have viewed it has described some of the contents as constituting an act of rape.
But investigators have also facing a stumbling block.
According to senior police sources, an 18-year-old woman, who is suspected to be the young woman in the sex tape, visited the Police this morning in the company of her mother and completely denied that the person on the tape is her.
News Source has also learnt that her mother also told Police that the young woman in the video recording is not her daughter. Despite several rounds of questioning, the young woman and her mother repeatedly denied that she is the person in the video recording and as such offered no statement or evidence in the matter.
The Police launched an investigation into the matter after the recording started to make the rounds on social media over the weekend. Persons who viewed the tape took to social media and called on the Police to launch a probe, claiming that during the threesome sex incident, although at first the young woman appeared as a willing participant, at some stages, she appeared distressed and wanted the activities to stop.
The man who was found dead today reportedly told family and friends last evening that the video was made a while ago and that the activity was consensual but he was unaware of how it was leaked.
In a voice message to a lady friend last evening he said “right now, the whole world is mad at me” and “right now I going through me consequences, ya hear, I going through me consequences”.
His body was found this morning.
