Pregnant Linden woman and taxi driver remanded over marijuana bust

Two Lindeners were remanded to jail this morning after being charged with the trafficking of marijuana.

The pregnant woman, Rhonda Hercules, and taxi driver, Stanwin Small, both entered not guilty pleas when they appeared before Magistrate Judy Latchman to face marijuana possession and trafficking charges.

The two were allegedly nabbed with over two pounds of marijuana.

The charge stated that on the 28th September, in Georgetown, they had in their possession over two pounds of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.

The Police Prosecutor objected to bail based on the “nature and gravity” of the offense.

Magistrate, Judy Latchman immediately remanded the two accused to jail and ordered that they return to court on the 5th October.
