The Guyana Police Force on Tuesday issued wanted bulletin for two murder accused who escaped from the Mackenzie Police Station.
The two men who have been identified as 30-year-old Stafrei Alexander and 25-year-old Robin Thomas were recently charged with the murder of Linden resident, Shevon Gordon.
They were in the mining town to make a court appearance. According to the Police, the two men escaped from lawful custody at the Mackenzie Police Station on Tuesday.
Citizens across the mining town are asked to be on the look out for the two men who are believed to have friends and relatives in the Linden community.
The two along with another man were charged back in May for the April murder of businesswoman, Shevon Gordon. She was gunned down during a robbery just in front of her Wismar home as she and her husband made their way home from her business place.
The three were chased by the woman’s husband and her son. They were arrested a month later and positively identified as the murder suspects.
