Wanted man turns self in for Biker’s murder

Water Street Businessman, Randy Jagdeo who was on the run since the September 4th, 2013 gunning down of biker Kirk Davis has turned himself into local Police and is expected to be charged for the biker’s murder before the end of the week.

Police sources confirmed to News Source that Jagdeo turned himself into cops in the company of his lawyer on Monday afternoon and provided a statement to law enforcement investigators.

There are reports that Jagdeo returned to Guyana late last week and was making plans to surrender to the Police over the weekend. He was first expected to turn himself in on Friday.

A Wanted Bulletin was issued for the businessman on September 9, 2013, just one day after relatives protested outside the Brickdam Police station crying out for justice.

The Police would later contact Interpol to assist them in tracking the man down. It is believed that he was hiding out in neighbouring Suriname.

A number of statements from persons who were in the area at the time of the bikers gunning down name Randy Jagdeo as the person who shot and killed the young biker in front of his Eccles home.

Jagdeo had accused the biker who was his friend, of having a secret relationship with his wife. The businessman reportedly took his wife to the biker’s home to get to the bottom of the story and had a meeting in his car with the two.

Witnesses reported to the Police that they later saw “Randy” shooting into the back of the car where the biker was seated. The woman was also shot but was taken to a hospital where she was treated and later questioned by police investigators.

The biker was rushed to the Georgetown Hospital where he died. A post mortem examination revealed that he was shot 16 times to the body.
