Two persons are in custody as Police investigators probe the murder of Better Hope, East Coast Demerara resident, Bharrat Sugrim called “Lusty”.

The 37-year-old man was found in a yard at Cummings Lodge, ECD, with stab wounds to his chest, at about 2:3opm on Sunday, August 24.

A man and a woman were taken into police custody shortly after and are reportedly assisting with the investigations. The Guyana Police Force has not released any more detail on their arrest.
