A 74-year-old man from Mahdia is resting in prison this evening after he was remanded today for possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficing.
The man Israel Jacob of Wrong Turn, Mahdia was nabbed on the 29th April with a bag of compressed marijuana and a quantity of cash. He was immediately arrested.
He made his Court appearance today virtually and entered a not guilty plea to the charges. The elderly man was remanded to prison until the 24th May, when he will make his next Court appearance.
