Four persons are in the custody of the Customs Anti Narcotics Unit following a cocaine bust on Wednesday on Sheriff Street in Georgetown.
News Source understands that a large quantity of cocaine was found in a car during a sting operation. The occupants of the car and persons linked to the occupants were taken into custody.
CANU is very tight-lipped on the investigations so far. Officials of the agency would only confirm that the bust took place but would offer no other detail. Multiple reports state that the CANU agents are looking for a number of other persons they believe may have close links to the case.
Additionally, those already in custody are being grilled.
