Granger launches interactive Facebook and Youtube Q&A series

In an effort to interact more with Guyanese youths who spend a lot of their  time on the social networks Opposition Leader David Granger and the Youth for David Granger group have launched an interactive online series titled “David Granger Up Beat”.

According to a release from the Youth for David Granger group, followers of the APNU and David Granger Facebook pages will get the opportunity to pose any question to the Opposition Leader on any national issue and he will provide a video response to those questions once per week.

The group said persons can post their questions on the Facebook pages from Monday to Friday and the direct video response will be posted to the same Facebook pages and YouTube on Sunday mornings. The move is being seen as part of the campaigning strategy of A Partnership for National Unity.

Guyana is gearing up for possible early elections as the Opposition parties get ready to move and pass a no confidence motion in the government when the National Assembly comes out of recess in October. The motion is being moved by the Alliance For Change and the APNU has indicated that it will lend its full support. The Opposition parties hold the majority in the National Assembly.
