Police investigators are probing the murder of a 30-year-old Kaneville machine operator.

The man, Ishwar Ramanah, died on Saturday evening after being hospitalised for gunshot wounds that were sustained during a robbery on December 13, 2017.

According to a Police report, the East Bank Demerara man, was shot back in December during a robbery at his home.

He was reportedly attacked by two armed bandits who stormed his house.

The 30-year-old man was first rushed to the Diamond Hospital and eventually transferred to the Georgetown Hospital, where Doctors lost their battle to save his life. He passed away just after 6pm on Saturday.

There has been no arrest so far. The probe continues.
