A 27-year-old man from Kaneville on the East Bank of Demerara is in a critical condition at a city hospital after he was shot to the face and back on Wednesday evening while standing along the roadway in his community.
The man has been identified as Colin Headley. Investigators are digging to get to the bottom of the incident in an effort to find out whether it was an execution attempt or a robbery gone bad.
A number of persons from the community were questioned about the incident. The investigations are ongoing.
