A Mechanic was murdered in his Madewini home moments after retiring to bed on Thursday night.
Police Commander, Asst. Commissioner of Police, Clifton Hicken spoke to News Source on Friday morning and confirmed the murder.
He said investigators were still in the area at Madewini where residents in the community and family members remain clueless as to what transpired.
Dead is 25 – year – old Carl Andrew.
According to Hicken, Andrew lived in a one flat home with two bedrooms along with his mother and father.
They all went to bed around 9:00pm but were awakened by screams about 45 minutes later.
The parents rushed to Andrew’s room but it was locked from the inside.
His father later made his way into the room by jumping through an open window only to find his son lying in a pool of blood with stab wounds about his body.
Hicken said a knife was recovered on the window ceiling but nothing was removed from the room.
Investigations are ongoing.
