Well known American franchise, Pizza hut is set to make its return to Guyana under a new franchise holder.
Corum, which is owned and managed by Guyanese and which operates the Marble Slab franchise in Guyana, has been able to acquire the franchise for Pizza Hut and the company is looking to open the first new location before the end of the year.
Officials from the company confirmed to News Source that training has already started for management and senior staff members and hiring will begin soon for other staff members.
According to Managing Director, Clairmont V. Cummings, who is also a Director for United Investments which owns the Gravity Lounge, Corum believes it is fortunate have been given the opportunity “to pursue and mold our creative desires with regard to any of the avenues we so choose”.
He said he considers the new move a new adventure which is coupled with a new milestone, “and definitely a new challenge”.
The company hopes to set up five locations across Guyana and intends to keep the quality at the standard of the international franchises.
