Agents of the Customs Anti Narcotics Unit arrested Tuschen resident Ryan DaSilva with over 38 pounds of cocaine which carries. astreet value of $113.1 Million.

The man was arrested on Saturday as CANU carried out an operation in the East Bank Essequibo community of Tuschen.

DaSilva was driving in the area when his car was stopped and searched by the agents. In the car, the agents found a bag with the 15 brick-like parcels of the cocaine.

The man was immediately arrested and taken to CANU headquarters for questioning. He remains in custody and will face charges within days.
