A disagreement over cigarettes turned into a full out brawl in Alberttown last evening, claiming the lives of the two men who were involved in the brawl.

The two men, Jermain Adrian Jeffrey and a vendor known only as “rastaman” got into a confrontation at around 9:30 on Friday night when Jeffrey turned up at the “rastaman’s” stall and attempted to purchase cigarettes.

According to a Police statement, The vendor refused to sell him and the two got into a fight and both drew knives. Eyewitnesses the two men stabbed each other repeatedly and both collapsed at the scene.

They were rushed to the Georgetown Hospital where doctors pronounced both of them dead on arrival.
