Armed bandits on Tuesday midday, carted off over $32 million in cash when they invaded a Courbane Park, Annandale businessman’s home.

According to a police report, at about 11 o’ clock this morning (Tuesday), two men, one of whom was armed with a gun, entered the premises of the businessman and held up the housekeeper 59-year-old Nandrani Manick and the 20-year-old handyman Ulric Fingall.

The housekeeper and handyman were tied up, while the bandits ransacked the home and took away $15 million in Guyana currency and $85,000 in US currency.

The police did not name the businessman but said investigations are ongoing.
