An early morning cocaine bust at the Ogle International Airport on Thursday has led ranks of the police narcotics branch to recover a total 518 grams of cocaine.

The bust occurred around 05:30am and resulted in a Guyanese National being arrested.

The man was an outgoing passenger at the Ogle Airport.

The cocaine was found concealed in his under-clothes, police reported.

It is believed that he may have also ingested a quantity of pellets containing cocaine. He has been admitted to the Georgetown Public Hospital under police guard.
