Police investigators in Georgetown have launched a massive investigation after 11 firearms were discovered missing from the Radar Security company.

News Source understands that the heist took place between late on Christmas night and early Monday morning. Company officials and the Police suspect that the weapons heist might have been an inside job.

A Police source told News Source that the missing weapons have been listed as two shotguns, four 9mm pistols and five .32 pistols.

Company officials were quick to inform the Police and call in the Criminal Investigations Department as soon as the weapons were discovered missing on Monday morning.

According to reports, a number of security guards attached to the company who were on duty at the company’s Carmichael Street head office have been questioned about the weapons theft.

Reports also state that there is one security guard who cannot be located and efforts are being made to ascertain his whereabouts.

Investigations are ongoing.
